In addition to these, weba Weberei Appenzell AG adheres to the values set out in the “Code of Conduct” (German, English, French, Italian).

“Sustainable Textile Production (STeP) by OEKO-TEX” is an independent certification system that helps brands, trading companies and manufacturers throughout the textile chain communicate their sustainable production methods in a transparent and credible way. The modular structure of the STeP certification process allows a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of all relevant business units with regard to their use of eco-friendly technologies and products, efficient management of resources and maintenance of optimal working conditions from a health and safety and employee welfare perspective.

The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. (EN)

The company weba Weberei Appenzell AG is committed to sustainable climate protection as a matter of principle, as reflected by its voluntary participation in the Swiss Private Sector Energy Agency (ENAW) programme for active reduction of CO2 emissions and optimisation of energy efficiency.
